Employment Opportunities
The Office of Residence Life employs more than 300 full- and part-time employees each year. Working in Residence Life is a tremendous experience, one where you will make great friends, have a lot of fun and make a difference in the lives of others. Residence hall positions are reserved for students living on campus.
Hall Positions
Fitness room worker
This position works in the fitness room in
Eicher/LeFevre or
Harrison/Stinson afternoons or evenings. Responsiblities include answering questions, spotting residents, cleaning equipment and monitoring the fitness room. Workers average 5 to 10 hours per week. Students with work-study are encouraged to apply. Only students living in the residence halls are eligible for this postion.
Front desk worker
This position works at the front desk evenings and weekends; hours vary based on the residence hall. Responsibilities include answering questions, checking out equipment, guest sign in and mail services. Workers average 5 to 10 hours per week. Students with work-study are encouraged to apply. Only students living in the residence halls are eligible for this position.
Office manager
This position addresses student needs between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the hall office, as well as assists the Hall Director. Administrative and organizational skills are required. Office managers work an average 8 to 12 hours per week. Students living in the residence halls have priority for the OM position.
Mug Shots coffeehouse worker
Mug Shots workers prepare a variety of coffee-based beverages and smoothies. Mugshots is open mornings, evenings and weekends. Students with work-study and who are living in the residence halls are encouraged to apply.
