Study Abroad Photo Contest in the College of Arts and Sciences

Enter for a chance to win a scholarship of up to $1,000.

Contest information

We are currently accepting photos for the following semesters:

  • Spring 2019
  • Summer I 2019
  • Summer II 2019
  • Fall 2019

Entries that meet the specified criteria will be considered for one of three awards:

  • 1st place – $1,000
  • 2nd place – $750
  • 3rd place – $250

Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis until November 15, 2019.

*All photos entered will be released to the University for unlimited publicity use. Entries are not guaranteed an award.

Eligibility

  • Program of study must be in the College of Arts and Sciences
  • Must be enrolled in the semester that funds are disbursed
  • Open to undergraduate and graduate students

Photo information

  • 300 dpi (or highest resolution possible)
  • Feature at least one WMU student
  • Feature a cultural identifier
    • Examples: a well-known landmark/location, a cultural experience, a learning activity/experience
  • Include WMU identifier (flag, T-shirt, etc.)

*All photos entered will be released to the University for unlimited publicity use. Entries are not guaranteed an award.
