The Hydrogeology Field Course conducts the majority of its field work at Western Michigan University's Asylum Lake Preserve. In addition, we often travel to sites throughout lower Michigan to conduct site investigations. Over the past several decades, the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences has developed and maintained field study sites at the Asylum Lake property for course work and advanced graduate study.
