Valley Dining Center

Located in the Valley Neighborhood near Valley III residence halls, the Valley Dining Center offers micro-restaurant service. Each micro-restaurant within the Valley Dining Center offers a unique menu, a serving area and an associated seating area. This service style allows for ample variety in food choices and seating options. Guests select from the food options available at the open micro-restaurants.

   

Valley Dining Center Serving Hours

Breakfast: 7 to 9 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  (Sunday:  noon to 1 p.m.)
Dinner: 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Breakfast options 

Served 7 to 9 a.m.

Traditions—full, hot breakfast menu

The Nook— cold cereals, bagels, breads, waffles, cut and whole fruits, yogurt, beverages

Lunch options

Served 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Sunday: noon to 1 p.m.)

Traditions—Home-style classic dishes. Plated meals; choice of meat or vegetarian entrée.

Pastaria—Italian inspired pasta and sauce choices. Pizzas fired in a hearthstone oven.

Cilantro’s*—Individually prepared Latin American cuisine based on guest selections. Burritos or quesadillas  made w/ fresh baked tortillas.

Fresh Creations—Fresh salad bar, cut fruit selections.

Soup—House-made soup.

Sweet Sensations—Variety of dessert options and soft-serve ice cream.

The Nook—Cold cereals, fruits and beverages.

Dinner options

Served 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Traditions—Home-style classic dishes. Plated meals; choice of meat or vegetarian entrée.

Pacific Plate**—Asian inspired stir-fry dishes individually prepared based on guest selections. Egg rolls and dipping sauce.

*Cilantro’s not available at Sunday lunch.

Meal Prices at the Valley Dining Center

$13 per meal with conference pre-registration. Meal tickets purchased with conference pre-registration may be used for any meal at the Valley Dining Center during the conference.

Meals may be purchased on site at the Valley Dining Center at the time the meal is being served using the rates listed below. Payment can be in U.S. currency or charged using VISA/Mastercard/Discover. Personal checks are not accepted. Meals purchased at the door are only for the current meal; it is not possible to purchase meals ahead of the serving time.
