IDPE Director Dr. Chris Coryn, IDPE alumni Dr. Daniela Schröter, and IDPE student Robert McCowen recently had their paper titled  “A mixed method study of some of the factors associated with successful school strategies for native Hawaiian students in the state of Hawai’i” published in the Journal of Mixed Methods Research.

IDPE Director Dr. Chris Coryn recently received the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Research on Evaluation Special Interest Group (SIG) Research on Evaluation Distinguished Scholar Award.

IDPE graduate Dr. Tererai Trent was named her all-time favorite guest by Oprah Winfrey (watch the video). Oprah donated $1.5 million to the village where Tererai grew up to build and support a new school (watch the video). To support the Matau Primary School Project in Zimbabwe, Tererai has designed T-shirts which can be purchased from the Save the Children website. More information
