Meal plans are purchased as part of a Residence Hall and Dining Services contract. Students who live off campus can purchase
Commuter Meal Plans separately through WMU Dining Services.
Meal plans can be used at any of the five residence hall dining rooms conveniently located around campus. Dining halls are self-service, so students can choose to eat as much as they like from a wide variety of food and specialty menus.
Meal plans offer a variety of options:
The Residence Hall and Dining Advantage ensures that room and board rates will remain the same for four consecutive years. Students can live in traditional campus residence halls and purchase a Dining Services meal plan for up to four years with no rate increases.
A beginning balance of Dining Dollars is part of every residence hall meal plan. Dining Dollars are used at Campus Cafés or to purchase a guest meal in any residence hall dining room. Dining Dollars included with a meal plan do not carry over to the next semester, so use them throughout the semester!
Meals are obtained using your WMU Bronco Card®. This card must be presented upon entering any dining room or Carryout location. One meal will be deducted from your Bronco 10, 15, or 20 meal plan upon entrance. You may inquire about the number of meals remaining on your meal plan when you enter the dining room.
Meal plans are not transferrable. Your Bronco Card® should remain in your possession at all times. Misuse of your card may result in fines and /or disciplinary action. If your card is lost or stolen, please report it immediately to the Dining Sevices office (Room 161 Bernhard Center,
387-4844). New cards may be purchased at the Bronco Card® office in the Bernhard Center.
Residence Hall students may change meal plans once per semester, during the first month of each semester.
