The Department of Mathematics at Western Michigan University has two student organizations that promote mathematics and related fields by providing a casual and relaxed environment conducive to learning. These organizations are committed to bringing together students with a common interest in various aspects of mathematics.
Join the Math Club for fun math and social events. Numerous activities take place each semester, held jointly with WMU's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematics honors society. Math Club is open to all Western Michigan University students with an interest in mathematical topics. There are no other membership requirements.
Pi Mu Epsilon
The Michigan Epsilon Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the math honors society, encourages eligible students to join. Numerous activities take place each semester, held jointly with the Math Club.
