Research

Research in the Department of Chemistry at Western Michigan University is conducted by faculty members of diverse interests. The intimate program is supported by active collaborations, constant day-to-day operations and close mentoring of students. Undergraduate and graduate students are involved in all aspects of the research endeavor with many opportunities for peer learning. Recent work is funded by agencies such as the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, Environmental Protection Agency and the ACS Petroleum Research Fund.
