Transfer student advising
Our advisors are here to help you make steady progress toward graduation. Trained to support transfer students throughout the transition process, they can help you understand degree requirements and evaluate how your transfer credits apply. Advisors in each academic college assist students in meeting all curricular requirements.
Student academic support
Western provides students with academic support to promote success in their coursework at WMU. Services are provided at no cost to students and include content tutoring, supplemental instruction, college success seminars and effective reading seminars.
Orientation programs for transfers
The transfer orientation programs are designed just for transfer students, covering the essentials you need to feel confident from day one. You'll become familiar with campus resources, meet other new Broncos and start settling in to your next chapter at Western.
