Dr. Donna Talbot is department chair and professor in educational leadership, research and technology at Western Michigan University, specializing in higher education and student affairs leadership. She earned a Ph.D. in administration of college student affairs from the University of Maryland-College Park, an Ed.S. in counselor education with a specialty in college personnel administration from the University of Florida, a M.Ed. in special education from Lesley College, and a B.A. in sociology from Amherst College. She teaches, among other courses, equity and diversity in higher education, foundations of student affairs and administration and assessment of college environment. Her research interests include diversity and equity in higher education, and more recently, Asian-Americans and students with multiple minority identities.
