Physics Club holds fundraisers to support field trips and other activities

Students in the Western Michigan University Physics Club have opportunities to socialize, learn about current physics research within WMU and elsewhere, explore career opportunities and exchange scientific ideas in a casual and relaxed environment. The club often takes field trips to visit laboratories or hear notable speakers.

Bringing together students with a common interest, the club meets regularly for movie nights, study sessions, fundraisers and other events in the Physics Student Commons, 2221 Rood Hall.

The Physics Club meets weekly on Fridays at 4 p.m. in the Physics Student Commons, 2221 Rood Hall.

Visit our club page on Facebook and our page on ExperienceWMU.

Phi Beta Kappa

Outstanding students in any liberal arts field, including physics, are eligible for membership in Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious honor society. Students are elected for induction to the WMU chapter based on their overall academic performance through seven semesters, their good character, and evidence of abilities beyond their particular specialty.
