  • Accessing YOUR Employee Information

    WMU's Employee Self Service portal allows you to manage your personal information electronically without having to submit paper or call human resources or payroll. View and/or update your address and phone number, paycheck information, current and previous W-2s, benefit information and more, all accessible through Employee Self Service.

  • Direct Deposit Setup for Employees

    Employees may add and change direct deposit information directly through Employee Self Service. Please see the job aid below for step by step instructions on updating banking information. For assistance with direct deposit updates, please call (269) 387-2935. All new employees are required to enroll in Direct Deposit or be issued a Pay Card. Direct Deposit Self Service Job Aide or Pay Card Fee Schedule.

  • W-2/W-2c Forms & Processing

    Western Michigan University employees should verify that their address is correct using the Employee Self Service. W-2 forms will be available by Jan. 31 through the Employee Self Service to all employees. W-2s will be mailed by Jan. 31 to the home addresses of those who have not consented to receive their form digitally in Employee Self Service, or have separated from the University. W-2's for previous years are also available within the Employee Self Service.

  • Keep YOUR Personal Data Secure

    All passwords are to be treated as sensitive, confidential Western Michigan University information. Once you have completed your self service session, remember to sign out of the system. Sessions will be timed out after 20 minutes of inactivity. Stay up to date on the latest email and computer scams at wmich.edu/it/newsphishing.

  • Payroll Choices Program

    The Payroll Choices Program is an exciting new payroll solution that gives you the option to receive your pay via direct deposit or a Visa® Payroll Card with Pre-Check® option. This program will provide you with flexible, convenient and secure ways to access your pay eliminating the need to issue paper checks. All new employees are required to enroll in Payroll Choices Direct Deposit or Payroll Choices Pay Card.

  • Timekeeper / Supervisor General Payroll Information
    • Kronos Correction Forms are be due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
    • Semimonthly leave used must to be entered into PeopleSoft Human Resources by 5 p.m. on the days listed in the P/S Leave Entry Deadline on the Semimonthly Pay Schedule. 
    • Kronos Correction Forms and Semimonthly Correction Forms should be emailed to the Payroll Department at: payroll-dept@wmich.edu

    • Semimonthly leave history report instructions are available on the Payroll forms page.
  • Reporting Resources Available to Authorized Users

    On November 18th, Human Resources, Budget, and Payroll hosted a reporting workshop. This workshop demonstrated how authorized users can use the Peoplesoft HR System and Kronos to view existing reports or to produce reports on demand. Available reports include the management data report, timekeepers report, and various others. Payroll has made the Reporting Resources at WMU Presentation Slides available for you.
