Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center at Western Michigan University provides the University student population with spaces for study, meetings, projects, and conversation. It also provides information on diversity, ethnic, and cultural issues through speakers, events, exhibits, and displays scheduled by University groups and organizations. The Multicultural Center is located in the Trimpe Building on WMU's main Kalamazoo campus.

Make a reservation

During the academic year, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion provides employees to oversee events for student groups. Over the summer, a student group may make a reservation during the week between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If a student group requires a reservation that occurs on the weekend or extends past 4:30 p.m. during the work week, the student group needs a WMU faculty or staff member who has either received training to use the space or is willing to receive training to use the space. The training is conducted by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion staff members.
