University relations is responsible for a wide variety of WMU communications and for establishing Universitywide standards and guidelines for all external and internal communication.

University relations serves as the primary source for the dissemination of University news to campus outlets as well as local, state and national media. We are responsible for the University’s Web presence and other electronic communications, and our office produces WMU Magazine and other major print publications, such as admissions and marketing materials.

We also are responsible for all WMU communication, both internal and external, in the event of a University closing or campus emergency.
