In collaboration with our campus partners, we develop and lead the University’s marketing and communications strategy to increase awareness and foster engagement with our audiences.
Telling compelling, authentic stories about Western strengthens our brand, attracts students and builds community with our faculty, staff, alumni and donors who contribute to our success and reputation as a first-choice school. Through this work, we build relationships with prospective and current students, shining a spotlight on our University and the transformative Experience-Driven Learning it offers.
Western breeds future leaders through different programs. You see photos and success stories all over campus of former students who have become very important figures in what they do, and that's really pushed me.

Brand strategy
Our brand strategy is what differentiates us from competitors. We support the University’s mission by highlighting the felt Bronco experience for the prospective and current student, donor, alumni, legislator and community audiences. Through a unified approach to messaging and visual identity, we align marketing efforts across campus.

News and communications
We create and spotlight stories about the achievements, challenges and diverse voices of our campus community. We curate stories in a number of channels internally and pitch stories to the media, growing our University’s reputation both on campus and beyond.

Digital strategy
In an increasingly interconnected world, digital strategy is key to reaching the right audiences and amplifying Western’s message. We enhance the user experience and strategic effectiveness of digital communication channels, such as the website, social media, digital advertising and mass communication tools.

Photography
Compelling photography tells the Western story, bringing the Bronco experience to life. Our photography team captures and shares images that reflect the vibrancy of our University.

Social media
A strong social media presence is essential to attracting and retaining Broncos. Our team oversees the daily content management for the University's flagship accounts, ensuring posts are contemporary, brand-aligned, engaging and timely.

Trademarks and licensing
Trademarks are critical to the integrity of our brand. By managing both trademarks and licensing, we protect and promote the marks, names and logos of Western.
