Summer Registration

Summer I and Summer II 2017 registration opened this morning for graduate students. The registration schedule for the week is as follows:

Student information systems security re-authorization

The semi-annual Student Information Systems Security re-authorization is quickly approaching. If you have access to one of these systems, you will receive an email next week containing instructions on how to access the digital form for re-authorization.  The re-authorization process must be completed no later than February 28. Automated notification reminders will be sent out following the initial notification until the form has been approved by both the user and their supervisor. Summer I and Summer II Graduation Application Deadlines

The deadline for students to submit their application for Summer I graduation has been extended to February 28 and the deadline for students to submit their application for Summer II graduation has been extended to March 31. 

Please encourage students planning to graduate this summer to complete their application in GoWMU as soon as possible.  Instructions can be found on the Registrar’s Office website.

April commencement

Planning for the April commencement is underway. Four ceremonies will be held in Miller Auditorium on Saturday, April 29.

The RSVP system will be available for students to reserve their four guest tickets in GoWMU through Thursday, April 13. Additional information can be found on the commencement website.

Fun Facts

One Spring 2017 graduate will be receiving three degrees; Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts. This student will have completed 304 credit hours at WMU at the end of the semester, the highest number earned by any student enrolled this term. In addition, she is graduating Summa Cum Laude.

  • Mar. 3—Last day to receive 25% refund for a complete withdrawal
