WMU trustees slated to meet in formal session

KALAMAZOO—The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees will consider items ranging from water main easements for residence hall construction to changes in the Faculty Senate's constitution and bylaws when it meets in formal session on campus Tuesday, June 10.

Meeting at 11 a.m. in 157-159 Bernhard Center, the board also is expected to consider budget and tuition for 2014-15, approve a recently negotiated contract with the WMU Police Officers Association and hear recommendations regarding faculty tenure and promotions.

In addition, the board will consider a number of other items—gift and grant reports and personnel and program recommendations as well as operating cash and annuity and life income funds investment reports.
