KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University’s School of Music is holding an opera workshop at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, and 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. Directed by School of Music alumna Susan B. Anthony and conducted by Professor David Little, opera students will perform the second act of Johann Strauss' "Die Fledermaus." The act depicts a huge party put on by a Russian prince, where the champagne flows, melodies soar and scandal abounds.
