The Esports program at WMU provides students with the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of competitive gaming. Our Esports Arena, located on East Campus, combines multiple gaming stations with state of the art production capabilities. Esports offers opportunities for recreational and competitive gaming along with hands-on experiences for those looking to gain experience in the gaming world.

Here are some of the things our Esports program offers:

  • Varsity teams competing in the Esports Collegiate Leagues (ESC)
  • Numerous club teams focusing on a wide-variety of gaming titles
  • Monthly fighting game tournaments with payouts
  • Summer camps for middle and high school students
  • Employment, volunteer and internship opportunities

Bronco Esports Lab

The Bronco Esports Lab is now open at the Student Recreation Center. 

Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday
Noon to 10 p.m.

Varsity Live Streams

Check out our varsity live streams as they compete in the Esports Collegiate League on Twitch this fall semester. All games start at 7 p.m. on their respective nights.

  • Smash Bros. Ultimate (Mondays)
  • Overwatch 2 (Mondays & Thursdays)
  • Rocket League (Wednesdays)

Matches will also be broadcast live in the Bronco Esports Lab at the SRC.
