Center promotes best practices

The National Research Center on Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is a collaborative initiative between Georgia State and Western Michigan universities.

Informed by responses from both researchers and practitioners, the national research center seeks to inform professionals, decision makers and the public on unique needs, challenges and strengths facing many custodial grandparent families. The national research center will promote best practices in the kinship care field by linking researchers and field-based professionals, with the ultimate goal of enhancing services for custodial grandparent families.
