Fulbright U.S. Student Program Information Session

Posted by Preetham Ale for Haenicke Institute for Global Education

Students interested in pursuing opportunities abroad after graduation are encouraged to learn more about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which provides funding for U.S. citizens to conduct research, pursue graduate study, or serve as English Teaching Assistants in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Designed for graduating seniors, recent alumni, and current graduate students, the Fulbright Program promotes cross-cultural understanding, global engagement, and academic and professional growth.

During International Education Week (IEW 2025), the Haenicke Institute’s Fulbright and Faculty Engagement unit will host several Fulbright Information Tables across campus where students can ask questions and learn about the program:

  • Tuesday, November 4 – 2 to 4 p.m., Lee Honors College
  • Wednesday, November 5 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Waldo Library
  • Thursday, November 6 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Waldo Library
  • Thursday, November 6 – 2 to 4 p.m., Lee Honors College

You are invited to join our information session to gain a comprehensive understanding of the program.
