CCE department is getting ready for renewing our ABET accreditation. ABET assesses the effectiveness of our undergraduate program and is very important for continued success for the Civil & Construction Department.

Accelerated Bachelor’s and Master's In Civil Engineering
The Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s (ABM) Degree Program allows undergraduate students in Civil and Construction Engineering an opportunity to complete requirements for both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at an accelerated pace.
Eligibility
Open to all undergraduates in CCE Programs
Benefits
Up to nine hours of 5000 level courses during undergraduate
studies are counted for BS as well as MS degreesAdmission Criteria
Apply before completing 96 Credit hours
Minimum GPA of 3.0

CCE Best Senior Design Project
Beginning fall 2008 the departmental faculty are choosing winners for the Best Senior Design Project when presented in the Senior Engineering Design Conference. This term the following students won for spring 2009.
Project title: “Gusset Plate Analysis for Steel Truss Bridges”
Team members: Paulette BeVier, Megan Montgomery, Frank Rodriguez, and Evan Selahowski
