Concrete Canoe

canoeWe are proud of the ASCE students competing in the Concrete Canoe Competition

The Western Michigan University Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers attended the ASCE North-Central Regional Conference in May 2008 in Lansing, Michigan.  The chapter participated in the concrete canoe, and technical ethical paper competitions of the conference and placed fourth among nine participating institutions. 

The Student Chapter looks forward to competing again next year along with the steel bridge competition.
