Students are asked to pre-register online for the free Friday events Oct. 21, Nov. 11 and Dec. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bernhard Center on WMU's main campus in Kalamazoo. The open houses allow high school seniors and their families to get acquainted with the University's exceptional academic programs, services, resources and student organizations.
Seniors who have yet to apply to the University can receive an admission decision at the event by signing up for on-site admission when registering and bringing the requested paperwork to the open house. Admission decisions will be provided during individual appointments that will be set up with an admissions counselor.
Each open house begins with check-in at 8:30 a.m. A welcome by WMU President John M. Dunn and remarks by other officials will follow from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The University Showcase of services, organizations and activities available to WMU students will be open from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Guided tours and informational presentations will take place at various times during the day.
