Canceled: The July 27 blood drive at WMU has been canceled. The next drive is scheduled for Sept. 28.

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University will be holding an on-campus blood drive from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, in Room 3131 of the Sindecuse Health Center.

Sindecuse is hosting the drive through Michigan Blood, a nonprofit center that focuses on collecting blood in communities throughout the state and distributing it to Michigan's hospitals.

Those wishing to donate may walk in on the day of the drive or schedule an appointment in advance at miblood.org. Each donor must show a photo I.D. or two pieces of non-photo I.D. Those with a donor I.D. card are also asked to bring that card with them.

Questions may be directed to Lynnette Abbate in the Office of Health Promotion and Education at lynnette.abbate@wmich.edu or (269) 387-3263.
