Gathering for campus veterans and ROTC students

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University Army ROTC students and campus veterans will have the opportunity to share experiences and enjoy a complementary lunch during an event at WMU on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11.

All veterans on campus, including students, faculty and staff, are invited to join the cadets for lunch at 2 p.m. at WMU's Activity Therapy Building on the Oakland Drive campus. Food is being donated by Applebee's Restaurant. The event is free and open to veterans in the campus community.

In conjunction with the lunch, students also are holding a blood drive at the building from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day.
