Bob Dylan in concert at Miller Auditorium

KALAMAZOO--Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Dylan and his band will appear in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium.

Photo of Bob Dylan in 2009.Dylan is one of the world's most popular and acclaimed songwriters, musicians and performers, having sold more than 90 million albums and performed thousands of shows in a career spanning five decades. His most recent album, "Modern Times," has sold more than 2.5 million copies to date and is lauded by critics around the globe. It entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at No. 1 and debuted in the Top Five in 21 other countries, including the UK.

Dylan's previous studio albums, "Time Out Of Mind" and "Love and Theft," have been among his most commercially successful and critically lauded, each having sold more than a million copies and earned Grammy nominations for Album Of The Year. "Time Out of Mind" won that award in 1998.

Dylan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 1982.
