Davis Dining closing through summer for renovationFeb. 11, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Davis Dining facility will close Friday, Feb. 26, to begin significant renovations including a dynamic new decor, new seating options and a service style featuring meals prepared in front of guests at separate food stations. The project will continue until the end of August and the dining hall will reopen Sept. 3 with a contemporary environment featuring new menus and fresh-food options, visible and interactive cooking and preparation areas, energy efficient systems and equipment, and updates to lighting, flooring and overall decor. During the closure period, students can choose from any of the residence hall dining room locations as part of their meal plan. The Garden Wok vegetarian stir-fry specialty menu from Davis will temporarily move to the Hoekje/Bigelow dining room near the deli bar. Garden Wok at Bigelow
