Discussion of student affairs research set for FridayJan. 25, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Student involvement in fraternities and sororities as well as the implications of the No Child Left Behind Act are topics of a discussion Friday, Jan. 29, on the campus of Western Michigan University. Graduate Students and Professionals in Students Affairs will host the free event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 213 of the Bernhard Center. Registration is not required but is requested to alex.a.garrett@wmich.edu. Guest speaker Kristin S. Fouts, WMU coordinator of student activities and leadership, will discuss student affiliation in fraternities and sororities and implications for other types of registered students organizations. She also will speak on the No Child Left Behind Act, its effects on student behavior and implications for student affairs practitioners.
