Students collecting items for Haiti reliefJan. 22, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students are collecting personal care items and monetary donations for earthquake victims in Haiti. Donations may be made between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays until Feb. 11 at the Wesley Foundation on WMU's main campus. Funds will be channeled through the United Methodist Committee on Relief, and 100 percent of the money donated will go to relief efforts--the United Methodist Church is absorbing the administrative costs. Checks should be made payable to UMCOR Haiti Relief.
