Summit slated for WMU supervisorsJan. 14, 2009 KALAMAZOO--Supervisors at Western Michigan University will have a chance to learn about new and existing policies related to student employment during a Student Employment Summit from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 21, in Room 157 of the Bernhard Center. The registration deadline for the summit is Jan. 20.
The event will feature a panel of experts providing accurate and up-to-date information. Panelists will include representatives from payroll, Human Resources, Career and Student Employment Services, the Graduate College, and the College Work-Study program. Each panelist will make brief comments about student employees or employment policies. Responses to these comments will be limited, so the panelists will have time to field questions from the audience. During the course of the discussion, some material will be presented online. Panelists have been asked to bring enough copies of their written materials to share with audience members. For more information, contact George Eskro at george.eskro@wmich.edu or (269) 387-2733.
