Aug. 31, 2008

KALAMAZOO--Crowds nearing 25,000 are expected to gather on the campus of Western Michigan University for the 28th annual Bronco Bash from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Fountain Plaza near Miller Auditorium.

More than 400 student organizations, University departments, community members and local businesses are scheduled to participate.

The gathering also features novelty attractions such as the Gyro Xtreme, the Pedestal Joust and Mechanical Bull, provided by Vertical Edge Entertainment. The event will kick off with a performance by the WMU Pep Band. Four other musical groups with Michigan roots have been booked this year.
