Public Safety conducting training at Vandercook

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Department of Public Safety will conduct drills and officer training from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, July 28-29, in and around Vandercook Hall on the WMU East Campus.

Vandercook is located on Oakland Drive between Oliver and Lovell streets, and the area will be clearly identified as a training site. While most of the exercise will occur indoors, out of public view, there will be uniformed officers and patrol vehicles in the area, and firearms will be used with training rounds.
