International Sports Night is open to campus community

KALAMAZOO--Amateur athletes from all over the globe are forming teams now for International Sports Night from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the Student Recreation Center at Western Michigan University.

The evening of friendly competitions in a wide variety of sports is free and open to anyone with a valid WMU ID--students, faculty and staff. Participants may register as individuals or as a team. Teams are forming now for basketball, volleyball, soccer, ping-pong and badminton. The event will also include an obstacle course challenge.

Provided enough teams register, there will be separate competitions for men's, women's and co-recreational (mixed) teams.

Pre-registration is encouraged and may be completed by contacting WMU's Intramural Sports Office at (269) 387-4732. Registration the day of the event begins at 5:30 p.m.

Basketball - 10
Volleyball - 8
Soccer-10
Ping Pong- Singles or Doubles
Badminton- Singles or Doubles
