WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News WMU closed due to severe winter weatherFeb. 1, 2008 KALAMAZOO--All campuses of Western Michigan University are closed today, Feb. 1, except for essential and emergency services, due to severe winter weather. All classes are canceled. Updates will be posted on this page as information becomes available. Reduced hours--Waldo Library will be open until 10 p.m. today. All branch libraries are closed. Closed--Computer labs in the Bernhard Center and University Computer Center are closed today and will resume normal operation Saturday after 8 a.m. Blast! in concert at 8 p.m. in Miller Auditorium will be held as scheduled. Canceled--Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for today has been canceled. Postponed--Linguistics lecture, "Input, Interaction and Output: What is it and what's it good for?" with Dr. Susan Gass, has been postponed and will be rescheduled later this semester.
