WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Trustees will consider living wage policyDec. 12, 2007 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Board of Trustees will consider the idea of adopting a living wage policy for the University when it meets at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14. Meeting in Room 157 of the Bernhard Center, trustees are scheduled to vote on a living wage policy proposed by a WMU student group. The board also is expected to set its meeting dates for 2008 and accept administrative reports covering gifts, grants and personnel items. In addition, trustees will hear two reports provided as information items. One is about the Michigan Universities Self-Insurance Corp. and the second will be performance reports on the University's operating cash and annuity life income fund investments.
