Admission is free and open to the public. Accompanied by pianist Lynn Kompass, Will's program includes a humorous cycle of new songs. The collection, which is based on definitions from "The Devil's Dictionary," pairs the satire of Ambrose Bierce's original compilation with the musical talents of writer Samuel Douglas to create a bold and comical new arrangement. Will also plans to perform songs by Charles Ives, Henry Purcell, Johannes Brahms and Jacques Ibert. Media contact: Kevin West, (269) 387-4678, kevin.west@wmich.edu WMU News |
