WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Employee groups APA and PSSO elect officersJune 18, 2007 KALAMAZOO--The Administrative Professional Association and Professional Support Staff Organization at Western Michigan University have elected new leaders for 2007-08. Both the APA and PSSO are nonbargaining employee groups at WMU. They provide a collective voice for addressing and communicating employee concerns, plus offer programs and events that promote professional development, recognize outstanding staff members, and enhance workplace camaraderie as well as networking. APA Officers for 2007-08 PSSO Officers for 2007-08 In addition, both organizations filled vacancies on their respective executive boards. Those elected to serve on the APA board are: Sharon VanDyken, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Bryon Glock, Academic Technology and Instructional Services; Lynda Hunt, Development Office; George Broomell, Office of Information Technology; and Jacqueline Angel, Sindecuse Health Center. Those elected to serve on the PSSO board are: Jennifer Clements, Department of Social Work; Terri Culver, Accounting Services; Pearl DeVries, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Carol Morris-Mier, College of Education; and Arthur Smith, Office of Information Technology.
