GoWMU and GroupWise offline Sunday morning

Feb. 7, 2007

KALAMAZOO--GoWMU, the secure intranet portal of Western Michigan University, will be unavailable Sunday, Feb 11, from 6 a.m. to noon for a software upgrade. Also, the entire GroupWise system at WMU will be unavailable from 5 a.m. to noon Sunday for a similar software upgrade.

E-Communication webmail and WebCT Vista will not be affected. While they cannot be accessed through GoWMU when the portal is offline, they can be accessed directly on the Web. E-Communication IMAP e-mail also is unaffected.

Webmail can be accessed at webmail.wmich.edu and WebCT Vista at vista.wmich.edu. Both require a Bronco NetID and password for access.

If you experience problems with either GoWMU or GroupWise after the upgrades are completed, please contact the OIT Help Desk at (269) 387-HELP (387-4357). If you call while the Help Desk is closed, please leave a message. Your problem will be addressed as quickly as possible.
