"Jesus Camp" comes to Little Theatre

KALAMAZOO--Western Film Society presents the Kalamazoo-area debut of the 2006 documentary, "Jesus Camp," Friday through Sunday, Dec. 8-10, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for students. The film is rated PG-13.

"Jesus Camp," by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady, follows children at the "Kids on Fire" summer camp in Devil's Lake, North Dakota. Pastor Becky Fischer educates the campers on how to be a member of the "Army of God." The documentary shows the experiences of three children on their spiritual journey and how they aim to lead a solid Christian life.
