Soule, office associate in the Western Michigan University Office of Student Financial Aid, has been elected president of the WMU Professional Support Staff Organization for 2006-07. Newly elected PSSO leaders began their one-year terms July 1. Other officers elected were vice president, Janet Liebendorfer, office coordinator, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; secretary, Dori LaChance, lead registration clerk, Registrar's Office; and treasurer, Nancy Johnson, assistant to the investment officer, Office of Investments and Endowment Management. In addition to the officers, five members-at-large were elected to group's executive board. They are Nancy Arneson, office coordinator, Environmental Studies Program; Celeste Glascock, human resources process associate, Department of Human Resources; Sally Laws, finance specialist, Customer Account Services; Michelle Loedeman, collections coordinator, Customer Account Services; and Vicky Meinema, office associate, Accounting Services. PSSO is a non-bargaining employee group made up of clerical and technical staff members. The organization represents the interests of all of clerical and technical employees and provides a vehicle for those employees to participate as volunteers in a variety of campus activities.
