WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Edwards and Grant honored at retirement eventsApril 20, 2006 KALAMAZOO--Two long-time members of the faculty and staff, who combined have more than 66 years of service to Western Michigan University, will be honored at separate retirement receptions, April 26 and 28, on the WMU campus. University colleagues and friends and family members from the community are welcome. Sandra J. Edwards, professor of occupational therapy, will be honored at a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, in the atrium of the College of Health and Human Services building. Edwards retires April 29 with 32 years of service. Norman D. Grant, systems manager in information technology, will be honored at a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the Oaklands.
