WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Arcadia and Vande Giessen closed to through trafficMay 18, 2005 KALAMAZOO--Arcadia Road at the intersection with North Vande Giessen, between Moore Hall and Waldo Library on the campus of Western Michigan University, will be closed beginning Monday, May 23, and is expected to reopen by Wednesday, June 1. During the closing, there will be no through traffic between Arcadia and North Vande Giessen. All parking lots in the area will remain open, including Lot 28 at Waldo Library and Lot 27 at Moore Hall, although only the east entrance to Lot 27 will be open. The circle drive in front of Moore Hall will remain open. Sidewalks on both sides of Arcadia also will remain open.
