Annual 'Choral Christmas' is unique holiday experience

Nov. 22, 2004

KALAMAZOO--"A Choral Christmas" focuses on the spiritual aspects of the holiday as well as the peace and stillness of winter and brings together more than 150 voices from the choral ensembles of Western Michigan University's School of Music.

This year's performances will be presented in two parts, each surrounding the audience with sound. Candles, voices, architecture, pipe organ, and downtown Kalamazoo will combine for an unforgettable concert.

Performances of "A Choral Christmas" will be presented at 5 and 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in the First Presbyterian Church, 321 West South Street, Kalamazoo. Tickets are $10 and available through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at (269) 387-2300 or toll free (800) 228-9858.
