WMU takes on the University of Tennessee at Martin in the season opener, which is the Broncos only home game in September. Fireworks are planned as part of the halftime program, and the first 5,000 fans to enter the stadium receive a Bronco souvenir, courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. Two of the three largest crowds in Waldo Stadium history were for CommUniverCity Night football, including a contest in 2000 against Indiana State, which drew a stadium record 36,361 fans. With advanced ticket purchases, fans can take advantage of the new WWMT TV-3 Family Blitz package and get one $23 reserved ticket at the regular price and a second reserved seat for only $3. For more information or to order tickets, visit the Broncos on the Web at <www.wmubroncos.com> or call the Athletic Ticket Office at (269) 387-8092 or toll-free (888) 4-WMU-TIX.
