Success in life and humorous vignettes are 'All in the Timing'

Sept. 24, 2002

KALAMAZOO -- University Theatre opens the second year of its York Arena Series with the hilarious vignettes of David Ives, "All in the Timing," Sept. 26-29 and Oct. 1-5.

Performances begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 26-28, and Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 1-5. There is one matinee, Sunday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. All shows are in York Arena Theatre. An opening night reception, Sept. 26, is sponsored by Little Caesars Pizza, and a post-show discussion will be held Sept. 27.

In playwright David Ives' highly successful collection of short vignettes, each piece is intelligently written, quickly paced, and subtly profound. The culminating message of the plays is that success in life lies all in the timing. Success comes to those who are persistent and patient.

The University Theatre production of "All in the Timing" is directed by WMU theatre alumnus Brian Sage '99, and features actors Aaron Michael Adamkiewicz, Billy Bradley, Luke Daniels, Dayna Dantzler, Katie Duthler, Angie Greenup, Katrina Morris, Kurt Pickelmann, Sarah Scanlon, Prescott Seymour, Casey Van Wormer, and Colin Woodside. The stage manager is Mikki Kristola.

Tickets are $6 for all patrons and can be purchased by calling the Gilmore Theatre Ticket Office at 269 387-6222. Office hours are Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Seating is limited. Seating accommodation for the disabled will be provided upon request.
