Dorothy McCuskey

University officials have received word that Dorothy McCuskey,
professor emerita of educational leadership, died in December
2001 at her home in Chapel Hill, N.C. She was 95.
McCuskey was a faculty member from 1957 until her retirement
in 1973. During that time, she served as president of the WMU
chapter of the American Association of University Professors
and was a member of the board of directors of the National Association
for Supervisors and Curriculum Development.
Prior to coming to WMU, she was a member of the U.S. Navy
Reserves and taught at West Texas University, the University
of North Carolina and Bowling Green State University.
She earned a bachelor's degree at the College of Wooster,
a master's degree from Radcliffe College and a doctoral degree
from Yale University.
