WFS presents free sneak previewJan. 11, 2002 KALAMAZOO -- Western Film Society presents a sneak preview screening of the new film, "The Mothman Prophecies" starring Richard Gere, Laura Linney, Debra Messing and Will Patton. The Little Theatre screening is on Thursday, Jan. 24, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Thanks to support from VISA, the sneak preview screening of "The Mothman Prophecies" is free. Students may pick up passes at the Miller Auditorium ticket office beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with pass holders admitted first. "The Mothman Prophecies" is based on true events. Set in the 1970s in West Virginia, a reporter for the Washington Post loses his wife in a strange car accident. Years later, he comes to believe that the accident is linked to strange sightings and occurrences in the area. The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver St. on Western Michigan University's East Campus. There is free off-street parking behind the theatre.
