Sunseeker has a rich history of building solar cars. Here you can find information regarding many of our past and present vehicles.
The 2016 car marks the return of both the number 786 and a four-wheeled layout. This vehicle is currently being manufactured by the team; we intend for its inaugural event to be the 2016 American Solar Challenge.
Now retired from racing, the 2010 car is the most recent vehicle we have produced. It has seen three American Solar Challenge races, plus another five Formula Sun Grand Prix races.
One of the best performing solar cars to come from the team. While the 2005 car no longer sees the track, it is frequently out and about at various events we participate in throughout the year.
The 1995 car is the longest lasting solar car produced by the team. It still exists today, and can usually be seen on display at the Air Zoo in Portage, Michigan. (Except for a couple months of the year when the team uses it for special events.)
