Fall registration

Priority registration ended last Tuesday. All current students are eligible to register for fall 2016 classes.

Catalog proofs

Friday is the deadline to return catalog proofs. If your unit is responsible for reviewing content, please make sure your corrections are returned to Laurie Foster in the Registrar's Office as soon as possible. We are planning to have the 2016-17 catalogs available online June 1.

April commencement rsvp

Please remind seniors graduating this semester to reserve their commencement tickets by Thursday, April 14 if they plan to attend the graduation ceremony. The RSVP form can be found in GoWMU. Reserved tickets will be available for pickup at the WMU Bookstore Shops located on the main level of the Bernhard Center during regular business hours starting on Monday, April 18.

Free campus shredding event

To encourage the proper disposal of the University's protected information, the campus GLBA Committee is hosting the second annual document shredding event on Tuesday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lot 41 near Sangren Hall.

Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to drop off professional or personal documents to ensure they are properly destroyed and recycled. This is a great time to review your departmental records and purge any unwanted documents. New this year, in addition to paper, you will be able to drop off CDs, DVDs, and Floppy Disks for disposal.

Letters to canceled students

Last week, the Registrar's Office sent a letter to students who applied for graduation in the last year but did not receive a degree due to outstanding graduation requirements. The letter went out to 247 students, encouraging them to return and complete their degree at WMU.
